Hi.
My girl Mabel sadly has tumours in her lower abdomen which we cannot do anything about. She is ok at the moment and is happy, running around and eating. As long as she is happy I am just monitoring it. But recently I’ve noticed when she is wheeking (as in for food) she can’t get the sound out, a bit like if you had a sore throat. She can rumble fine though.
I’m not particularly worried but wondered if anyone else had experienced similar?
Thanks.

Yes, one of my first piggies when she got to a more advanced age she lost her wheeker too. Reminded me of Wheezy the penguin from Toy Story

Merab lost her wheek too as she grew older.
All she could do was wheeze loudly.

So sorry to hear about the tumours. Make lots of memories, take lots of pictures and give her lots of happy todays.

Bless her she looks so sweet. I am sorry to hear about her tumours. One of my boys has a very quiet odd sounding squeak now he is older. I thought the other day he had stopped wheeking when food was on the way, then I realised he was getting drowned out by the others!
