New Born Pup
I look my 2 year old guinea pig to the vets two days ago as I noticed he wasn’t eating much and was just constantly sat in his bed.
The vet said his back teeth are slightly over grown but wasn’t an urgent need to book him in to get them clipped.
He has pain meds to take for the next 5 days to help with any discomfort before reviewing the situation.
He won’t eat any hay or nuggets and only has the tiniest bit of veg before he’s not interested.
Resulted to syringe feeding him to try prevent any weight loss but just I feel helpless and hate to see him not his usually popcorning happy self!
Can anyone suggest anything else?
I would like to add that they have a constant supply of hay and nuggets and have chew toys etc in the cage to help keep their teeth down
