My two boys have been with each other since tiny and get along perfectly, I 've just noticed something and don't know quite what to make of it?

Its normally Mullet doing this to Barnet and Mullet is the more dominant one though they're both pretty even really. Anyway, sometimes Mullet will go right up to Barnet and actually puts his mouth round Barnets?! He doesn't bite or rumble, its like he's trying to kiss him or take food from his mouth or something, but he never hurts him and all Barnet does is move his head and shrug him off then its forgotten about. Sometimes Mullet will persist but rarely.

Has anyone else seen this before?

I have seen with my boar pairs where one will come over & hold his head just slightly higher than the other one's head for a few seconds. It looks to me like a dominance thing. I haven't seen exactly what you describe though. As long as they're happy & not actually scrapping then hopefully all is well :).
