Looking for some housing help here as there seem to be some really creative people here.

I have 2 seperate houses:
a triple storey 4ft hutch like this one
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/GIANT-4FT-Tri...utch-EB34_W0QQitemZ320371004198QQcmdZViewItem

and a chicken coop with an attached run like this one http://www.henhouseworld.co.uk/ch101n.htm

My garden has a bottom level then a wall with steps up to a grassed level.
The chicken coop/run sits on the grass on the top level & the hutch sits on the lower level so the top level of the hutch is level with the coop/run (hope that makes sense)

What I want to do is connect the 2 houses.
I had an idea of adding a cat flap to each house so that they can be closed off & connecting the 2 houses with some sort of bridge/tunnel but I have no idea how to do this?
Any ideas?

Can you post pics of your runs so we can see how it is laid out at the moment?

my initial thought is you need a tunnel/tube which is weather proof, but cleanable, but cannot be dislodged by wind or foxes/cats. extra big drain pipe, or a boxed tunnel made of mdf?
catflaps as doors sounds great, as long as the the tunnel cannot be accessed or removed by predators.
a little roof/sloped bit of wood above the hutch flap would stop rain getting in around the tunnel end (if the join is not water tight)

p.s. thanks for a bit of distraction in a really busy day at teh office - it is nice to think about lovely piggies for a few mins rather than do work rolleyes
