Hello,

I'm looking for a nice outdoor cage/hutch for 2 guinea's with lots of space.

I don't really have a budget but I'd like a few suggestions of good hutches, ranging in price so I can compare!

Also, is there anywhere I should avoid buying from?

- Aidan!

Try having a look at zooplus as I find them good to order from. They do 5% off your first order if you Google it for the coupon code and free delivery. I have the chartwell 6ft but my biggest problem is that it's quite flimsy, the back is plywood and cracked already and we have had to replace the locks several times as they either broke or slipped out of line. I don't think they represent that much value for money and to be honest I would have paid much more for better quality had I known

pets at home bluebell/rose cottage are great value.5 feet in length, fits 3 sows or 2 boars.ive a chartwell 6 foot hutch.which has lasted me 4 years without repairs, still going well.ive hutch covers and snuggers over both hutches.Boyels look good, ive had some of my shed hutches built by a hutchmaker.

Thank you, I'll make sure to check them out!

Out of curiousity, how much did you spend?

I'll take a look of this, it sounds great.

Thank you!

I Spent 199 pounds on my 6 feet Double chartwell hutch.Home and roost sell these ,and covers to go with them.I'm sure they are based in Canterbury Kent ,and ive found these to be good value.pets at home have the bluebell on offer at around 100 to 120 pounds.:)

I highly recommend boyles pet housing. Fantastic quality. They do a budget range too. Also like the welfare hutch company. Both make high quality sturdy long lasting pet housing.

My chartwell was from home and roost too at around £200. I saw the welfare hutch company ones and they did look very good quality. I think next time round i would be challenging my OH to build one

I have a chartwell hutch but it has a plywood back. Not impressed as the website said it was tongue and groove. Nice enough hutch for a quick option (speedy delivery) but nowhere near the standard of boyles or welfare hutch co.
