New Born Pup
I recently made a thread about my sick guinea pig, Jaq Jaq, which turned out he had pneumonia and passed. I was on to two guinea pigs, Oreo and Gus Gus.
Well, a week after Jaq's passing, Oreo died in his sleep. I'm extremely heartbroken and never wanna go through that again. I'm down to just Gus, who was Jaq's son. Jaq and Oreo were both petsmart guineas but Gus was a natural baby so he's pretty healthy. But now he just sort of lays around. I take him outside to explore but he lays in the grass with his head down. Overall, he looks sort of depressed. I don't know what to do. I don't want another guinea pig because of death and after Gus, I think I'll just be done with guinea pigs...but I want Gus to have a good life. Is there anything I can do to cheer him up for now? I give him lots of attention and food and a new bed but nothing is working.
