Junior Guinea Pig
I lost my oldest sow last month, and this has left Crumble on her own. I have two other pigs, a neutered boar and a sow.
I had previously introduced Crumble to Rocky (the boar) and she hated him, but I decided to see if loneliness would overcome that, but it didn’t! She also hated Rosie, my other sow. Lots of teeth chattering and yawning, and she was clearly stressed.
Currently she lives in a 2 x 4 C&C cage underneath the other 2. I have no room to extend it, nor can I put the cages side by side.
I don’t want her to be on her own forever, but options are limited. My last option to try is a baby sow, but I’d need to find one somewhere that would allow a meet and greet first as I have nowhere to put the baby if it doesn’t work.
Has anyone else ever has a pig that just won’t accept others?
