Hi

We’ve had to make the difficult decision today to end treatment for Ted’s mate Dougall. They’re both 3 and a half years old. Obviously we now do not want Ted to be by himself. I’ve had a look around to see if there are any guinea pig rescues near Liverpool. If anyone has any recommendations in the North West or is looking to rehome then any help would be much much appreciated. Ted is an un-neutered boar with a very calm temperament
 
There is a list of recommended rescues in the menu. Unfortunately I don't have the tech skills to link it for you.
Good luck finding a friend for him. I also have a very chilled boar, aren't they wonderful.

It's worth actually contacting rescues as they tend not to advertise any single piggies they have.
 
So sorry that you had to let Dougal go.
Be gentle with yourself as you grieve.

There’s a couple of excellent rescues in Staffordshire, The Potteries Guinea Pig Rescue and Merrypigs.
Both are run by forum members.
