Hello Chaps, I haven't been on here for a while but wanted to let everyone know that I am running the London Marathon on 22nd April :(|) to raise money for Diabetes UK, and The Excellent Adventure Sanctuary xoxo Debbie has nursed two of my crew back to health, Bumble and Daisy May x) and also two who were very sadly terminally ill 8... Oscar and Flobble. So the Sanctuary is a cause very close to my heart.
I have been training hard so know I will complete the 26.2 miles, very slowly and resplendent in a logo-ed T shirt and various guinea pigs dangling off my person (not real I may add) so any support you could offer in the form of pledges would be very gratefully received.
Even One Pound would help towards the regular dental work required of some of the residents. Archie told me he would be Very Grateful Indeed. x)

Do you have a giving page? Good luck, have done a few halfs but never a full, hats off to you as I know how much hard work goes into the training. Good luck.

Hello again! I have a just giving page but the donations on there go purely to Diabetes UK. If you would like to pledge, just stick a post on here or PM me. I shall not chase for the money until after the event, then i will mail a thank you card and ask for cheques to be made payable directly to Cat and Rabbit clinic. So i would PM you and send the precise details. I hope that makes sense! zzz

hi, i would like to pledge £10 for the piggies if that is ok, good luck, i really admire you x

I'm pledging £26, a £1 a mile seems the fairest thing to do thing to do as I've been sitting on my lardy watching it, being very grateful that I'm not running it!

I have donated £20 direct to the Santuary's paypal addy, and will increase this to £1 a mile on completion!

My Goodness ladies THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH!
The simplest way to send the sponsorship money is via the website www.teasnorthampton.co.uk then use the paypal link

I have been completely and utterly overwhelmed with the amount of support I have received so I can only thank you.
Today my body feels stiff, but not so I am popping ibuprofen. Just yet!
It is an amazingly emotional experience, highs of the euphoria when the crowd shout your name and encouragement. Lows when you think you might throw up or your head might explode! Poignant t shirt measages. Runners looking after each other. Holding hands, i could have burst into tears on countless occasions! I have decided that the last most wretched six miles were only an hour out of the overall experience which has included amazing early morning training runs through fields with deer, bunnies, pheasants, oh la la la! I shall not bore you all to tears but it has been ace.
And THANK YOU AGAIN!
