Bella makes this growling nose then gose for Lolas face and then a big sqeek follows what could that mean do they need separated? and also Lola has been moving there house all over the cage and moving it so it faces the wall then crawling behind it when bellas in it trying to move it again ?
This confuses me because when i have bella out the cage Lola gose crazy and yes there definatly sows . please help xashx

They should only be separted if blood is drawn. It could be Bella's in season & is feeling a tad moody or that she's just re-iterating to Lola that she is the boss & is putting her in her place. Do they have 2 of everything? If not this could also be an issue, some piggies don't like to share, i'd keep an eye on them & if a full blown fight does happen be ready with a towel to separate them as piggy teeth hurt! :)

It looks like Bella is in full dominance mode. The dominant pig rumbles and sways her back (like a wooing male) to show off that she is the bigger and better. She is giving Lola head butts to reinforce her supremacy. Lola is squeaking as much in protest as in real pain. It is par for the course that the dominant sow makes sure she gets first choice and the best of everthing.

This behaviour should stop eventually once Bella is feeling secure enough in her top spot. It can last from days to weeks, though it should get milder. The bonding process looks rougher to us than to guinea pigs. Don't despair - they have all chances of becoming best friends once they sorted out their relationship!

You might see some rumbling and climbing again when they are in season.
