Living Arrangements For Two Separated Boars

Hi guys, I have two boars who after three months of living together had a massive fight while we were out resulting in Reggie having his ear ripped in half. Queue lots of panicked tears from me and us having to split them up. We are limited on space and they were living in a 2x4 c&c with a 1x2 loft. I had to remove the loft and split the cage in half so this is how they live now. They seem happy enough and no fighting, both sleep out in the open whilst we watch tv in the evenings (so I can watch cute snuggling down and chicken legs )

What living arrangements do you guys have got separated piggies? I would like to make their current cage bigger but I’m restricted by spare space in the living room.

I think lots of people just divide the cage as you have done, with limited space it would be difficult to do anything else. It's good you have found a way for them to co-exist

Thank you, we just had to make do with what we had, they seem happy enought though. I'm hoping that if we do move house in the future, I will be able to give them more room

If you want to give each pig more space, you could make a stacked cage. One 2x3 cage with a 1x2 loft, the other 2x3 with a 1x2 basement. The total space will still be 2x4.
