Liver Problem

Please help me out guys , so my guinea pig is 5 years old , recently i noticed that she has lost a lot of weight , i could feel all her bones . I took her to the vet and he told me she had problems with liver (hepatomegalia and cirrhosis ) , also some gas because of veggies i gave to her. Low chances of survival , she has been injected with antibiotics and vitamins. Vet told me she can die any die during treatment period. Has any of you dealt with this kind of problem ?
She is feeling really bad not eating , not drinking , not pooping , not peeing , lethargic , hardship with movement , hair loss.
I've been feeding her with herbs ,lettuce , cucumber, bell pepers , tomatoes , carrots + Her food.
How did your guinea pig act before death ?
 
If your piggy is not eating you need to step in with syringe feeding regularly round the clock (link below). What else did the vet say could be done for her, or is a case of keeping her comfortable?

It sounds like your guinea pig is very ill. When dealing with very poorly pets, I always ask myself 'do they have a life worth living?' If the answer is no, then I let them go. When they've had a lovely life, I don't want it to be horrible at the end and always prefer to help them over the Rainbow Bridge, when life is no longer good xx
 
this is hard for you and trust me a lot harder for your piggie. Vet had warned you that she's is very ill and tho we don't want to hear that we must do what's best for piggie. Make her comfy warm and talk to her.
On this forum there are lots threads about people who like me also have to go through this.
Read them and make piggie comfy. I send you both my best wishes.
 
I attempted giving her some water and pellets from syringe , kept her in blanket.
Unfortunately she passed away just an hour after writing this post.

I'm really sorry she's gone.
Her leaving for rainbow world is very Up setting but she's left with your smell and home comforts pls take comfort from that
