Little Ash Awaiting His New Friend

Getting Ash a new pal tomorrow seeing as he is 1 boy out of 8 piggies , hope he will be okay in here alone for the time being, would've kept him with the others a little longer seeing as is he is the runt of the litter he was born in, but I saw him try to mount on his mom for the first time time today. He is very tiny and his new cage mate will be 2 years old, the oldest of my piggies so i hope this goes well. I had to put another set of grids along the sides so he couldn't get out back to the girls. it is a 2 x 4 cage and the hideys i have in there all have 2 exits, and 2 water bottles. Going to get more things to make it more homey i just hope the age difference isn't too big.

Best of luck that your "uncle pig" is finding his soft side! Boars can be very caring with youngsters. My Bedo was a perfect nanny with my three little foster baby girls when they were young.
