I'm using trays under the hay rack but I'm having to change it twice a day.
I use a puppy pad with some hay (not loads) it's always soaked and the piggies kick off because they want it changing lol shall I use more hay in it or something else?

I use a puppy pad with a layer of shavings and then hay :)

I will using newspaper and hay in my guineapigs litter trays.

How many guinea pigs do you have and how big is the hay tray?
Initially I had one large hay try for my 3 guinea pigs and found it got soaked through very quickly.
Now I have 4 guinea pigs and 2 large hay trays, and this seems to work well. They do need changing daily, but once every 24 hours is enough, and although they are wet they are never soaking.
Is there any way you could add another hay tray to give them more peeing room?

I have eleven pigs with six litter trays containing aubiouse and hay.Can get away with every two days.

I have 6 guineas with 4 litter trays. Layer of fitch in the trays then lots of hay. I used newspaper before but found the fitch really helps with smells and now only needs changing every other day.

anyone that uses aubiose in litter trays, did you find it left residue in litter trays?i use two trays between four piggies in each cage/hutch with megasorb, may try fitch.:)

I just wash them down with the hose. The pee leaves the residue I think
