What to use in litter tray that won't stick to fleece I'm currently using sawdust in there but it gets everywhere

I use Carefresh but to be honest if they don't want to use it they won't rolleyes

Probably just simpler to use newspaper & a bit of hay, that usually works for mine!

I use a wood pellet litter. :))

Hi
I have just bought some wood pellet litter for my new litter tray. However, I have spotted one of the pigs eating it!
Would you say it's safe? It doesn't say anything to the contrary on the packet.
Thanks
Linda

my rufus did the same! it looks quite similar to nuggets i think. it didn't do him any harm though. poops were no different even xx

I use a layer of megazorb and then cover it well with hay. Works for all mine - 2 lots have hay lofts, so although they drag the hay down the megazorb stays in the bottom - they quite happily, as piggies do, chomp and pee and poo :))

One of my girls has just the litter tray, as above, but placed on the fleece. Then again she is the cleanest little girl ever - won't pee or poo in her sleeping bit ^) does it all in the litter tray

I don't find any megazorb on the fleece at all :) but do cover it well with hay - the hay shakes off the fleece relatively easily.

I'm finding it hard to get the shavings off of the fleece too and am afraid I'm ruining my washing machine. Both hay and shavings are so expensive for me (unless I drive the 45 minutes to my dad's and get feed bags of his hay) and I'm concerned that any other type of bedding will still be expensive. Any CHEAP options?
