Pinky & Perky's Mum

Hi everyone

Pinky and Perky now have vet bed in their cage and seem to be weeing in one corner most of the time so decided to get them a litter tray to put in that corner to see how they get on, but was just wondering what I should fill in with? Should I use woodshavings or maybe Carefresh?

Any advice would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance :)

you can get wood based litter pellets they work well but mine tend to eat them (i was using the cat ones but you can get small animal ones too - I think they are same but cat ones are much cheaper). Saying that tiger has started eating megazorb too so can't win. It's always all over his face and I'm like I know what you have been up to ! :))

Mine eat Megazorb too. They dig away down deep through the hay just to get to it. I thought it was just my daft guinea pigs that done that. :))

nope mine like to eat most things that arn't food including whole paper bags etc.. and they love eating tons of wood off their toys :)) Luckly they don't seem to like plastic
