So My guinea have a litter box and I keep hay in there for the down level. But sometimes I do see poops in there aswell... But that is not what I want to see in there... I want to see urine so the fleece doesn't get messed up that quick! I'm not quiet sure how to little train them to urinate in the litter tray. I know you put poops in it so they know they have been in there before and will again but I need another method Help?

I once read when they're in the business position to pick them up and put them in the litter tray, but I wouldn't recommend that- how would you like it if you were on the toilet and someone lifted you off! lol.
It is hard to fully litter train piggies, unlike cats, but is possible. Positioning the litter tray under food sources such as a hay rack, may encourage more- but cannot guarantee they won't poo and pee everywhere else.
Good luck. You'll need it! :))

Yes they like to pee and poop under ther hay rack but it's kinda small and since the stairs are at the opposite end of the hay rack there is not much space... I'll post a picture tomorrow

I don't think you can really train them, they tend to go toilet as they eat which is why the hay tray works to some extent.

When mine were little they would poop and pee under their ramp which was handy as I just put extra fleece there for washing more often - however they have now taken to just doing it all over the cage

Well I know you can't fully train them but can to a certain extent... I just want them to pee and maybe even poop in the tray so I don't have to wash the fleece so often :P I do see some poops so the method I used might of worked :)

I only got my boys around a month ago and they are two years old-ish so have already established where they like to go.
Don't know if my examples will help as I don't use fleece :)

What I have noticed is that they always pee in corners and out of sight if possible (shy and neat?!) - so I place objects in any corners I don't want them peeing in and then they seem concentrate all their efforts on the remaining corners .

I also leave their small pet carrier in one corner of the shed too, lined with newspaper and hay, and they tend to go there is the are free-ranging in the shed - they like to pee in private hidden under something rather than out in the open - maybe if you cover the litter tray with a pigloo or cardboard box they might be happier to go. Good Luck!

I have c&c cages with fleece. I peg a fleece over the cage where their litter trays are and their water bottle is over the litter trays as well.Used to have hay racks but now their hay goes in the litter trays. Have newspaper thenb finacard then their hay. Most wes and poo is done in there and it saves me a lot of work
