Anyone had success ? my piggies already do their waste in corners, was wondering what goes in the litter box and has anyone found success? i know i would have hay for them to eat there as well but any other tips ? too much poo

Mine do most wees in litter trays.I just use cat litter boxes and use newspaper then finacard then their hay.I have them in c&c cages so pin fleece over the cage where the litter trays are.Still have to sweep up every day

I'm not trying to minimize the spot cleaning just more make it in one place so it's easier to clean (; thanks that sounds like a good idea!

I use hay trays with an aborbent layer underneath; they make good toilet corners, especially when you also mount a hay rack above. For the sleeping areas I use incontinence mattress covers, as most piggies won't control their bladders when they are asleep. You get a few extremely tidy piggies and others that are very scatty; most are somewhere in between.

I don't use litter trays per say, but I do have food areas separate from their fleece which they do most of their business on. They do tend to do their business where they eat and drink so I sectioned mine off :)

Mine use a litter tray, only problem is it's the one in the rabbit hutch, they wont entertain one in their own hutch! :))

No, they have their own hutches either end of the shed, but for some reason, every time the pigs get let out, they invade the rabbit hutch to hoover up their left over food! :))
