SO I have my 2 male pigs in their cage with a corner litter box and they don't seem to ever use it. I have not needed to clean it in 4 days because there is literally 1 poop in it. However, when they are out of their cage and in their run, they use their litterbox perfectly. Should I just take I out of their cage to allow them some more space to run around? it is a really large lierbox and they don't seem to use it so it just seems like a waste of space to me. Thanks

I would just take it out to give them the space if they never use it :D

Most of my cage is lined with fleece but I have a few trays containing litter strategicly dotted about. I'd be naive to think they use them as toilets . Some people report successes with litter trays but my piggies wee and poo whever they like. I keep my trays in as my piggies like jumping in and out of them so they're not taking any space away from their exercise area.

I have a corner box. One of my hay racks is over the top and they poop as they eat from it. Since doing this they only poop the big piles in the box. I still get the random odd poop around the fleece but nothing like it was before. I have a 2x4 C&C with a loft so I guess it doesn't take up much room. This is good for me as now I don't have to change their fleece's everyday!

I have litter trays and fleece.Majority of weeks done in it .My litter trays are filled with finacard as nd hay and my girls like sleep ok Nguyen in.it

Mine use their litter trays all the time. They are half way underneath the hamsters hutch so that they can hide away and eat, etc all at once.

You could try putting a hidey in their tray and see if that works.
