Hi everyone I’m have an older pig of 7 1/2 she’s sometimes a little wobbly on her legs, but not all the time, she’s on metacam every day,

I’ve been reading about liquid osteocare ( for humans) has anyone used it? Any experience etc?
I’ve asked vets if there is anything to help but they e always said No not for piggies

Hi!

Liquid osteocare does help in the case of overnight back leg paralysis that is caused by a sudden drop in calcium and not by something else (please see a vet for a diagnosis and do not home treat on spec as you may miss something important).
Looking after guinea pigs with limited or no mobility

It does not help with weakening muscles, arthritis etc. which are not related to issues with calcium. Wobbly legs and loss of mobility can unfortunately be part of the normal aging process. Unfortunately there are no trolleys or wheelchairs for piggies to help with mobility... :(
