Hi I've recently tried just using Lino On it's own with my pigs but then kept hay and shavings still in their bedrooms. In the main part I have put litter trays with shavings so they can wee in there rather than on the Lino, and it's actually working. Now all I do is sweep away the poo and wipe over with detol twice a day. does anyone else do this type of thing? Also I'm hoping it will decrease the flys in the summer.

I am getting a new hutch built and I will be putting lino on the base of each level,I was planning on putting wood chip over the lino, its good to know that your piggies are not peeing all over it tho!:))

I am so pleased with the new set up it's saving alot of time lol

Sounds great! I tried lino to begin with, but my piggies love to run round and round their whole cage (even though the have 6+hours floor time a day!). When I had lino the slipped an awful lot and I was scared they would hurt their legs, or bash their heads into the grids!

Wish mine were as well behaved as yours :) xx

My second bedroom is my piggy room so i replaced the carpet with lino :)

i then use newspaper and fleece and have no problems makes cleaning so easy :)

I'm going to line my new hutch with non slip lino and see how it goes, there will be newspaper/megazorb/hay in the bedroom and I'll probably end up just putting a loose fleece in the living area so they can run around on it and not slip over :)

It's good to here other people use it :). Mine is non slip but my pigs don't seem to run around they sleep all day instead! lol

I am going to try lino tiles in my pigs hutch. Trouble is if the wee saturates the wooden floor it cant be nice for the piggies!

I used lino with fleece on top, but mine chewed the lino if the fleece wasn't down grrrr

I am using an cheaper offcut of lino in one piece under my towels and fleece to protect our carpet; but my cage setup is at least 5 square metres.
