I tried to post on an old thread but it was closed! So started new one. I read afew ppl have used the pound land self adhesive tiles. I've scrubbed cage and its dry I have laid one tile but it is soooo sticky. I'm worried in the heat it will unstick and pigs will get glued to it. Also I have a hutch with removable floor trays. How have you stuck them in? Eg have you cut it and sort of bodged it to fit as its not bendy to bend up the walls. I will give up ahhhh help please.

To be honest in my experience with the lino tiles once they are stuck they are stuck good and hard!

I've just checked and its not really sticking! Although they are very gluey. I am prob going to have to cut it for th floor and cut other bits for the sides. I wanted to try and lay as a whole sheet so there's less joins.

Give it time to set and dry, they do take a while but after a few days mine were solid.

Yes I use normal lino now and it's easier to fit, but the tiles are useful for being pre-glued. They do need a while to dry though!

Try turning your floor over if that makes sense, my hutch has a sort of black shallow tray thing? stuck in the wood and when I move them outside I will turn my floor over (I put it in the wrong way the first time so I know it fits upside down!) and line with either floor tiles or lino. It will save sodding about with cutting special shapes!

thanks sophie&honey yes that does make sense. It was getting too late and dark tonight to carry on so I laid one tile which isn't sticking well because of that dip edge bit on the tray. But tomorrow I will flip it over.
