Lidl Wonky Fruit & Veg Boxes

This great initiative by Lidl may be of interest to some of the Rescues and us piggy owners too - £1.50 boxes of fruit and veg that may be a bit wonky but perfectly good to eat that will be on sale in all stores every day until 12noon - I immediately thought this could be fab for the piggies!

Yes and on a day by day basis. The boxes are filled with stuff they would otherwise throw in the bin. On the occasion I looked it seemed they had an abundance of single bananas either fallen off or pulled off the bunch

I have seen these in our local Lidl but each time they are have been left in the window and the sun has been beaming through and that has put me off.... Good bargain tho...

I saw them at our local one, but there wasn’t much variety. I’ll try to remember next time.

I got one yesterday, plenty of different fruit, the lemons and tomatoes were worth £1.50 on their own.
