licking?

Now i'm not sure if it was licking or sniffing but i was holding my guinea when it looked like he started to lick my sleeve. He then went to ruffle it up and chew it. I know he wasn't hungry because i offered him a peice of celery. Also about five mins before that we put crackle and pop together who we recently seperated in different cages because of injuries. could the licking be because of this or was it something else??/

I know one of mine used to gently tug at my clothes (usually sleeve) if he wanted to be put back in his cage, usually because he needed to pee. Do you think it may have been a gentle tug with his teeth?

It's normal for guinea pigs to lick peoples' skin, as they like the salty taste, but I've never heard of them licking clothes before.

You may have touched fesh veg or something else tasty with your sleeve is my guess!
