licking up wee

just a question was wondering if anyone elses boars do this.

rudy over the last month or so has been licking up his wee in the cage and peters aswell. i put a new salt/mineral block in to the cage to see if hes missing out on salt etc..

does anyone know why they do this or if if any other boars do this?

My Bumble does this all the time - he hardly EVER drinks - except wee - in Kangaroos the male kangaroo licks up the wee because that tells him if the female is in season - perhaps it works this way with piggies - it is only honeys wee he licks up because she wont let him have his wicked way and pees in his face - so it sort of fits.
