Hey
my more confident piggy (mitchell) keeps biting me and sometimes he licks and then bites me Can anyone tell me What this mean? Or does he just not like me? X

Hi
He's either just exploring and testing to see if you're food or it could be his way of telling you he needs a pee if you're holding him.

Your piggy maybe want something. Mine pigs will nip if they are flipped on their back or if they do not enjoy what * are doing...

My pig Sundae does the same... I think I taste interesting and she is trying to see if I might be edible. She's not biting aggressively, it's more of a lick followed by a nibble.

he doesnt do it aggressivly i dont think.
he bites me even when I'm stroking my other pig george, he bites me when i stroke him, pick him up and even when my hand is just resting on my lap.

he has serious attitude i thinking maybe he does like to be out but he just doesnt like to be stroked or picked up. either that or he just does not like mummy.
i find myself sitting with him going 'why you so nasty to mummy' 'why dont you love mummy' haha

Do you feed him when he is on your lap? It could be either he can smell food on your hands, or he is expecting you to feed him rolleyes

You could try wearing some heavy duty gardening gloves, let him nibble your hands then & he will find they don't taste of food, it may put him off. Don't let him eat any of the fabric though!

he is very cheeky :))
no i dont feed them on my lap so i think it that
he has never drawn blood so its not aggressive and he makes happy noises so thats what confusing me

A lot of guinea pigs are lickers/nibblers. Some of the nibblers can be a lot rougher than others! I had one boy that almost drew blood on several occasions - but he was not aggressive in the slightest - just a very rough lad. Most of my current pigs do it with varying levels of roughness. A couple of the youngsters are quite rough, and one of the ladies is very very soft when she does it, almost can't feel the nibbling! Mine make little chuntering noises while they do it, like little food detectors.

He doesn't hate you, he's just very inquisitive - if rather rough with it! :)

funny thing is he hasnt biten me alday haha His been rather laid back.

I brought them al new things for the cage today so their busy exploring and jumping about happily distroying it all when i spent ages making it nice! :))
