Hi I am thinking of getting my two girls yet another cage. I'm guessing this will bring it up to number 6 not including the shed, that my first two were housed in for a matter of weeks before they came in for good. :yahoo:
Anyway I was wondering if anyone who has either of these cages could tell me the depth of the tray and the dimensions of the front door. Also what are your opinions of little pet warehouse and Petplanet? Are they reliable? Do they sort any problems quickly if they arise?
Oh and opinions of these cages would be helpful too thanks.

Unfortunately I like to trap my fleece bedding between the cage bars and base to stop the naughty Kiwi piggy from burrowing underneath. :mal: So not sure how a slide out tray would work. The access looks great though

Trapping the fleece between the bars and base is one of the reasons I'm looking for another new cage as dismantling a 3 level 120 cage every week is becoming a bit of a pain. Also feel 120 is a bit small
for the two girls and all their furniture.

The cage is fixed so you can slid out only if you want them tip bedding/ poops into a bin bag, compost heap ...

@Maisy and Poppy wouldn't the fleece get caught when pulling the tray out if the fleece was over the sides of it?
Have you ever used Little Pet Warehouse or Pet Planet, if so what are your opinions?

I have not used any of those companies. You don't have to slide the tray out too.
Also you can put things on top of the fleece to stop the piggies burrowing under.

i got my 140 little friends cage from littlepetwarehouse for £65 i think it was then i got a £15 refund on it too it arrived quick but it was damaged but only very slightly the bars at one side are a bit bent but no problem with them it was very minor but i complained a got a refund anway works well for my 2 girls :) SAM_0150.webp

bought the one you are talking about and petplanet were great - then decided to house boys back in shed again so now its an extra cage I am keeping for the winter incase it gets too cold and they come in again - but yes, great cage, and its HUGE!

Lol I used to hardly use it, then recently I've become addicted! :p I've just started a YouTube channel too, only a few videos so far, your piggies are very cute!

aww thankyou :) you love youtube its a lovely community and hobby to do x ive moved them outside for summer now but there doing really well off to make a thread in a minute got soem nice pictures :)

Aww cool I'll have a look, would love to let mine outside but I live in a flat with communal gardens so not sure they'd be appreciated ha!

aww probably not could always pick soem grass maybe tho they love it :)

The Little Friends range is excellent and well built, they do a 140 and a 160cm cage. Good and solid. I have the 120cm as a quarantine cage and it really is very sturdy.
