Hi guys,
I just stumbled upon some posts on insta saying that romaine lettuce shouldn’t be fed everyday since it’s high in calcium. I honestly thought it was safe to give to my piggies everyday.

What kind of lettuce can i give them daily?

I know there has been mention of this in the past. Rest assured lettuce is fine to be fed daily - any lettuce except iceberg is fine. I don’t tend to buy just one type in any event so mine tend to get either round, romaine, little gem or even bagged salad mixes. It’s just whatever I am buying for us

Romaine lettuce is safe for piggies for every day feeding. The only lettuce that shouldn't be fed is iceburg.

I’d have a riot if my piggies didn’t get their romaine leaf every morning.
It’s absolutely fine.

Good question to to ask though as there’s so many contradictory ideas out there.
