Lettuce - just a belt & braces check….

Imagine my delight! I just realised that the lettuce I planted before thinking of adopting Pansy and Zola is … Cos!

My question is maybe a silly one, but they have been used to romane, so if it change to the cos I have grown - should I change it gradually or would it not matter - just change it all in one go?

….also….. I can def feed cos right! I know the answer is yes, but ….. I can def feed them cos right?!

I have included photographic evidence - in case no one has ever seen a lettuce before (and Zola - just because - or should I say - just beCOS! See what I did there?!)

Lucky piggies. At least you remembered you had lettuce growing in the garden.
I totally forgot our lettuce had grown enough for everyone to eat & brought more at the weekend!

I haven’t tried it . Maybe the girls would be gracious enough to give me some cucumber and red pepper - I could make a sandwich

Not too late to plant more. You can also treat it as a pick and come again crop for a while, just take off the outside leaves as you want them and the heart will keep forming.
