AAAHHHH!

Ok...in run tonight Robin and Hamish have been a little tense. Robin had been vigerously teeth chattering once or twice and Hamish was doing the side swagger type thing.
There was one lunge and then all was fine.

The once more, after Hamish was trying to take Robin's carrot, and it esculated once more...I kept a close eye then the two were fighting quite badly, I jumped at them with a towel and they seperated and sat at different ends of the pool.

Now...all is quite but Hamish is doing something weird with his back end...like curling his back leg and raising it? Is that not a bad sign? Thing is I don't think Robin can see it and he's just sitting there...

what's going on?! 8...

sorry do not know what leg lifting means with respect to guinea pig language have you checked it is not injured?

One of my boys does the leg lifting action when I tickle his back. This is often accompanied by and bum waggling/purring/rumbling. However, this is the affectionate war dance and usually culminated in Montgomery wilding popcorning about the floor before coming back for more. It may just be that the boys are trying to sort out who is the boss. Particularly where food is involved.

I have then both back in the cage, veg spread around and food bowls opposite sides...it's almost like Robin doesn't want Hamish near him and I can't see any real bad signs that Hamish is giving off to annoy Robin.

Only when Robin teeth chatters does Hamish act up to it. I am very confused with their behaviour right now. It's like Robin is afraid and annoyed with Hamish...as whenever he gets close Robin teeth chatters and then either runs or Hamish might lunge.

I need to go make some dinner but I don't know if I trust them on their own!
Maybe it's even my presence...I have no idea!
