Help! My alnost 4 year old non pet store guinea pig has clear gel come out of her bum! This has only happened once, and I don't know what to do. It is also very sticky and stretchy, I accidentally got it on my hands when picking herbup and pulled a lot out of her bum with poop attatched. (Normal Color) HELP! (And her other activity like walking, and eating are very normal.) She is also female.

Has she seen a vet? If so what did he/she say?

When I sent this it was only a few minutes into discovering this, so I haven't gone to a vet yet, and the vet is quite hard to get too right now, but if there is an absolute emergency we will take her ASAP

Hi

Please have your girl vet checked for a potential underlying developing problem most likely with either ovarian cysts or the urinary tract. It is not an emergency, so please don't panic.

You are unlikely to see the jelly again but it can be a warning sign that not all is quite right.
