Hi all,

Does anyone have any suggestions for where to find large runs? I have a small (4foot square) run which is lucky to still be standing it's so old but I would love to find a really large run for my boys (not to mention their bunny shed mates!).

I'm thinking something approx twice the size, my garden is large enough and my boys LOVE being out on the grass! It's so satisfying to watch them feverishly munching away then giving little leaps of happiness as they scuttle around.

My garden is well enclosed and to date I've seen no evidence of neighbouring cats or foxes but I do live nearby farm land so preditors can not be ruled out!

Sometimes it is easier to build your own, that is what my dad always did for my bunnies and guinea pigs which meant they had hinged roof tall enough so i could sit in there with them and handles so we could move round the garden easily

I'm (sorry should say my husband will be) building me a run soon as I want a full head height one to attach to my girls shed and go round the bunny palace (they won't be allowed out in the run at the same time) and I found poulty and chicken forums/websites were full of great links, info and tips for good big runs. I loved the one on this site (hope its ok to post links?)

I was thinking build your own seemed the way forward. Well if I can convince my boyfriend to spend a weekend insulating and carpeting a shed for my critters I'm sure he can be pursuaded to build a run! :(|)

I loved the chicken run link! I'm expecting some chickens in the spring, if I don't get one for the furry things I could well for the feathered things!
