My boar had a large lump on his back (close to the bum) and I took him to the vet when I first noticed it 6 months ago, and the vet just gently sliced the skin, drained the lump, and told me it was a benign cyst that may or may not come back.
Well, fast forward to present day and it is back and almost double in size!
Anyone have any experience with this? Should we keep bringing him to the vet to get it punctured and drained? Can he just live with this large lump (he is 3yrs old)?
Thanks everyone!

I don’t have any experience with lumps but any lumps do need to be investigated. I would get him seen by the vet again. I hope he’s not suffering too much with it.

I only have experience of a tooth root abscess. I’d take them back to the vets to discuss options. Good luck.
