i have finally figured out ow to build my cage for my 2 boys. its 3x5.2 ft so 5 grids long and 2 and a little over half of another grid. i actually found a trundle bed in our storage that it fits across nicely so i took the springs off and it just has those bars across so very sturdy to hold the coroplast and a smooth area to set on. i absolutely love the results and cant wait to get my boys. now i have a question about hayloft areas i would like to build a 1x5 loft at the back of the cage and am trying to figure out how to support such a large level without using up alot of floor room to build it? i am sorry i know ive asked alot of cage question but this is my first time building a c&c ive had a 2x4 before but it was built for me.

You can support the loft with wood. The wood should be cut a little longer than the cage. Round closet rods work well too.

thanks especially for the pic. i hope the boys will like it!:) this forum has been so helpful with everything.
