For a couple days after the passing of Harriet, I was feeding Sylvia some veggies or a pea flake almost every time I went to the pig room to see her (I felt bad for her all alone and she had lost a tad of weight because of grief - she’s back to normal now)
Now every time I walk in the room, she starts squealing and begging at the bars, expecting food. Is it just me feeling incredibly guilty when the pigs expect food and don’t get it?
Can’t say I didn’t bring it upon myself but I think I’ve lost my hearing due to her excessive squealing XD :help:

(just clipped her nails after that photo was taken, ignore the long nails :P)

Guinea pigs are appetites with fur so will take advantage of every situation they can to get food. Sylvia is only trying to guilt trip you into giving her something yummy. Don't give in. Chuck some hay in her general direction and she'll be fine.
