What do you have for your kitchen areas?
I have a plastic dog bed which I line with a fleece blanket that has half of a puppy pad under it. The hay goes in there and also their veggies twice a day. I empty ithe old hay every day and refill and then change the fleece and puppy pad every other day.
Doing this has pretty much toilet trained them as almost all poo and pee goes in there. However, now they are getting bigger, they are peeing a lot more and I think I need to start changing the fleece and puppy pad every day as they get so wet.
What do you do?

I use large plastic tubs with a dropped rim at the front.
They are meant to be used for storage in a garage or workshop I think, but they work well and the piggies love them.
I put a few sheets of newspaper on the bottom and pile them high with different types of hay and the odd sprinkling of forage.
I change them every 2 - 3 days.

I would reccomend getting a cat litter box/pan and using that as a kitchen area, you could also get a hanging hay rack and put the cat litter pan under or infront of the hay rack. And you could put the hay in the rack, any excess hay will fall into the litter pan. Also you could put a puppy pad inside the litter pan so that it absorbs urine. Since piggies are constanly eating hay, they will be standing in the cat litter pan all the time and most of their pee/poop will be in there. You could change the puppy pad and dump out all of the poops every 3 days.
