Hi, my Piggies have a wooden hutch, raised and i want to ensure they are warm and dry when outside. Its very wet and miserable this evening so tend to bring them indoors but some tips on covering the cage would be much appreciated :)

You can buy a water proof and wind proof hutch cage from pets at home if that helps :yahoo:

Snugglesafe heat pads are great to use. You can get them for around £13 if you shop around on the internet.
A waterproof cover is a great idea.
I've also heard of some putting old duvets over their hutch (under the waterproof cover).
Try popping a cardboard box inside the hutch and stuff it with hay too.

We used to put Tarpaulin? over ours when it rained. It's tough blue stuff that's waterproof. I also give mine a hot water bottle on really cold days :) I fill it half way with hot water from the tap (not kettle because that's too hot!) and wrap it in a blanket so they don't chew the rubber. They LOVE sitting on top of it! We used to put pieces of tough plastic on the wire bits of the cage on windy/really wet days, so they could still see out and get light but they weren't bothered too much by the weather.
