Hi All :)

I have decided to introduce myself, as i have been reading the forum back to front, since becoming the proud mum to 3 rescue piggies last Sunday.

My name is Sam, i am 40 years young and live in Lancashire. I have three children, Josh (5), Jamie (12) and Megan (11) and a hubby Dez. We are honoured to share our home with a variety of pets, a Cocker Spaniel called Beano, a cat called Bluebelle a hamster called Panda, seven chinchillas, Millie, Molly, Toffee, Crispie, Onyx, Spangle and Caramac, an African Grey called Timba and now the three piggies Gingerbread, Cookie and Muffin..

We recently lost our Lionhead rabbit Tufty at the great age of nearly 9.

We visited Thameside Guinea and Rabbit rescue last Sunday, looking to bring home a new rabbit, but we soon changed our minds when we saw our new family of Guinea Pigs. The family consists of Mum, Gingerbread (roughly 8/9 months old) and her two 6 week old daughters Cookie and Muffin. They are begining to settle quite nicely and we are all completely smitten.

Have a couple of pics of the new additions in photobucket, only a couple as i wanted them to settle this last week.

Hi :)

I live in Leigh Lancashire...not far from Manchester, and no where near London ;D

Megan, as with the other children all adore animals (good job really). I am fortunate as all the children will help me with the care of some of the animals, in fact the children think the Guinea Girls are theres, but i am just letting them believe that, because as all us Mums know they are ours really. ;)

Welcome to the forum - i haven't been a member long - but they are such a friendly such and I have been made to feel very welcome.

Hey welcome & well done for helping that rescue out, I think they were getting a bit snowed under with the amount of animals.

I do love all animals but Guineas are the best & are an utter joy to keep 8)

Hi there!

Welcome to the forum - your piggies are gorgeous! :)

Have Fun :) x
