I've been looking for an indoor cage for a while now, I wanted one that I could use as a hospital cage if needs be and/or a cage for foster piggies or piggy train pigs. I found one on ebay, which was fairly local ( well on my way to Preston) it had a little rust where some of the coating had chipped but other than that seemed ok. So i tool the chance and put a bid of £1.04 and WON!
I picked it up today, and it is better than i could have hoped for, it is a ferplast 120 and aside from the rust and a slight bend in one side there is hardly any issues with it.

Didn't quite realise how much space a 120 takes up- its huge! So after being cleaned it is sat on top of my wardrobe ;)

Does anyone have any ideas if there is anything that you can use to paint over the rust, that is of course non-toxic? x

That's the one I have for my piggies whilst I build their hutch! I find it great, although hard to clean under the ledge as you have to remove the whole wire surround to flip it out! Might just be me not understanding it though! Bargain price, great find!

Well I'm not planning on housing any piggies permenantly in it , so it shouldn't be too much of an issue for me :)

thats the same cage as dittos! :-) he looks tiny innit but the more room the better! .. I got dittos for £40 out of my local paper its brand new basically the woman had bought it expecting to have a rabbit in it for her kids but her kids had misbehaved and werent allowed one anymore :-( felt bad for the kids but i got a bargain!

Oooooh bargain! I have one of those stashed away as my hospital cage. They are a lot bigger when you get them home than they look in the shops! lol

I use Plastikote to coat cage bars, it comes in all sorts of different colours and for lots of different uses.
