Its not the brand vet bed its the cheaper version that can only be washed at 40 degrees. But I bought it in baby pink large enough to fit my boys ferplast 140 and the girls 4x2 cage they love their fleece but they tunnel under it I am hoping the vet bed is thick and heavy enough to prevent that.

I also might be getting made redundant so I thought id buy this while I have money because I wont be spending cash on things that are not required :-)

I shall report back with photos :-)

I prefer bedding like finacard but my bin is not big enough to handle all the waste! I also found washing liquid that is dirt cheap and all summer I shall line dry the stuff so its cheap for now :-)

Vet bed! I cut it too large for the cage to allow for any shrinkage during washing but it didnt shrink but I was being lazy so just put it in the cage. :-) Piggies seem happy!

The cage is a ferplast 140 but it looks tiny in this photo, when in reality its bigger than a 4x2. The litter tray is the base of an imac fantasy and is 60 x 40cm (the size of some piggy cages!)

I cut mine slightly larger as well thinking it might shrink and it didn't. So I too just put it in the cage with the overlap up the wire. The boys sometimes use it as a pillow and lay right up against the wire.

I just took the plunge and bought a piece from eBay which was on free postage. Got a piece 1.5 x 1m for just under £20 and it did Easyfundraising which supports my playgroup too. Can't wait for it to arrive and see what happens.

Its amazing my piggies love it, its easy to sweet too ... easier to use a hand to sweep up poops though (some might think that is minging but hands can be washed).

I got 3m x 75cm for £28 including delivery ... enough for 2 4x2 cages with some spare that the bunny is getting.

the 4x2 size just fits in my normal washing machine but it only took 15 minutes on low heat to dry it in the dryer!

The boys cant get under it either!
