Just been to the pub...hic!

I have been so cheesed off today that my friend , my daughter & I have just been to the pub!
I never do stuff like that - but have a 2 double rum & cokes & feel slightly merry!
Where I live has gone mad - I just b*ll*cked an old lady because she was SO rude to my friend. She said when we were in a shop 'open the door' when my friend looked at her waiting for the 'please' the old lady said 'now'! I went into a rant about how manners cost nothing & at her age she should know better!

Then when we got outside this other old lady unashamedly did the loudest belch that you ever heard - wouldn't be amiss on a building site. She didn't cover her mouth or look embarrased 88). Yesterday I had a nutter follow me throwing glass bottles at me - he was about 30 & looked fit as a fiddle so running wasn't even an option!

So our afternoon charity shop browsing has been spent in the pub before we turn into one of these crazy people!
 
Oh crikey! - I had a moan at a old lady a while ago about not saying her manners! Really annoys me too. We've been brought up to say ours! And courtesy costs nothing!

Slightly merry.. LOL You deserve the drinks! 2funny
 
I find it amazing that you get so many older people complaining about the Youths of today!
I too have experienced rudeness from many. I would love to say something but normally don't
 
Same on the roads. The number of times I stop to let people pass in a built up area on the way to drop the girls at school and no one acknowledges me or raises their hand in thanks. Courtesy costs nothing! I sometimes think the elderly are worse than the youngsters! ::)
 
Don't get me going on that one! I was driving through town last week and a mother was crossing the road at a crossing The traffic lights were on Green! The little man was on RED!
I stopped the car. She said Sorry rushing her kids over the road.

Now I'm sure she wouldn't have been saying sorry if I had run one of them over!
 
I'm surprised you could type the way you sounded on the phone ::) :o
 
a lot of elderly belive you owe them somehting and it ruins it for many lovely pleasent other elderly people , like the old git over the road who believes he knows more then hubby about driving and our business moany old git hope he picks on the wrong person soon, :tickedoff:
 
I want to know why people can't indicate left at roundabouts. Went to vet earlier which is about 1.5 miles away. I stopped at 3 roundabouts on way home to give way to the right and they all went left. Hooted each one 98)
 
Do you think H has gone bed! Shes said she isnt used to drinking and hasnt been on since about 4pm!

He he ;D i wish i could go to the pub! I'm helping out in one more than drinking in one my mum owns one!

Ah, those broken indicators again. Thats sooo annoying!
I hate when people dont say please or thank you, it really fustrates me. All it takes is an extra second. If i hold a door open for someone who doesn't say thank you, i say quite loud, 'Oh you're welcome!'. ;D Some people! >:(
 
It's as is they think they're owed it. I'll gladly stand up for someone older than me, i'll open a door, i like to smile when i walk at all the other people but yes it peeves me the way people either don't bother or they look at you like, well DO IT. So good on you Hils well done.
