just an update :3

It would seem progress is being made between the newly paired boys, its been about three days ? now and there is a LOT less dominancy behaviour ! They are eating out of the same hay tray (even though there is two) however they are still having little nose offs and rumble strutting from time to time, Rolo was teeth chattering but it was very quiet and he didnt seem to be aiming the chattering at oreo, he was just chattering at his tube ? they sleep at the back of the cage seperated xD, does this sound like progress? Does it seem like things are going well ? :S Whenever i walk close to the cage, or make a loud noise (they live in my bedroom with me xD so i tend to be doing stuff and dropping things all the time D: ) Oreo runs over to Rolo and almost hides behind him. Is this accepting behaviour ? Personally i think its progress and that they are happy chilling together in the same cage I dunno what does everyone think ?

Sounds like you are getting there . Our boys have been together for a week or so now too & the rumbling has decreased but we still get the odd squabble & bit of chasing from Bertie (the older one). I am just keeping a close eye on them. Bertie does some generalised rumbling at nothing much just like you describe Rolo doing. I think it all sounds pretty normal .

haha thats a relief ! awww, they have little squabbles, chasing and some kicking from Rolo if oreo gets too close and snapping but only on odd occasion, not blood has been drawn and they havent teeth chattered directly at one another, right now they are sleeping a little closer together than usual haha ! :3 I think they are going to be ok but I will keep my eye on them >

We're on day four and a half (Sunday afternoon). Things have relaxed on the bonking front by loads. We've havent really had any squabbles as such. Mostly Millie squeaking and warning. But I suppose thats because they're boy and girl and we've had proper snuggling since the second day. the first day Melvin was just trying to bonk or snuggle Millie 24/7!
