I was just wondering, why do guinea pigs point their noses? When smelling for food, or cleaning themselves, I’ve noticed that they point their noses. Always wanted to know why. Thanks!

their strongest sense is their sense of smell, they use their nose to explore since their eyes are weaker. their nose is their approach to curiosity. i think it's the cutest thing ever :P

Yep, their strongest sense, so they rely on it for everything! I love nosey piggies.
