So I feed my guinea pigs a wide assortment of vegetables and fruits daily but I keep coming across different things about carrots not being good for guinea pigs

They contain a lot of sugar content,

Carrots contain too much sugar and too much vitamin A to be in the diet regularly. Too much sugar can cause overgrowth if the wrong kind of gut bacteria and lead to digestive problems.
They can be given a very small amount as a treat but no more than once a week.
