Jumping piggy

Hi,

Has anyone else’s guinea pigs jumped out their arms. My cage is about a metre above the ground and as i was walking to place my guinea pig in the cage m, he jumped… onto the floor. He seems alright but somehow in the process a massive chunk of fur fell out.
Anyone else has this problem (i know they have no depth perception)

I’m so sorry your piggy has had an accident. Please keep a very close eye on them. A metre is very high for a piggy to fall. Please take them to the vets if you notice anything wrong with them. I hope they are ok.

They’re doing fine actually their behaviour hasn’t changed. I assume it was just a shock for him (as it was for me!)
