Jumping around the cage

Hi everyone,

I have noticed over the last few days that both our boys are jumping around the cage, almost as if they are about to sneeze, high speed with they heads shaking. I thought it might be pop-corning but I am not sure.

It seems to happen when I clean there cage out whilst they are still in it. I take a dustpan and brush and scopp up their hay and poops. They also did it this morning when I fed them frsh hay.

Are they showing signs of happiness or are they allergic to dust or something?

They are litterally both running round the cage, doing circuits and bumping into one another.

It looks quite concerning but they settle down quickly.

Is this a sign of pop-corning, showing they are happy at what I am doing?
 
This is popcorning indeed and a sign that your boys are happy and full of energy and life! Enjoy their antics!
 
Awwwwwwwwwwwwwwww! Sounds like you have very happy piggies, mine love cleaning time too :)) x)
 
:(|) They are happy and associate the dust pan with food - my lot go crazy when I hoover as they know veggies are coming xx>>>
One of my girls who is quite a small piggy, Buffy (the little ginger and white one in my avatar) looks as though she's having a fit when she popcorns as she jumps upwards and sideways - scared my OH to death when he saw her do it mallethead
Piggies do such funny little things, wish I could capture some of their tricks on video sometimes :))
 
Our do funny jumps as well, sometimes with all fours in the air. They make us laugh when they do it, it's so cute and they look very happy when they jump like that.
 
my piggies do that whenever they hear someone blowing something as there old cage had a shelf and before wiping clean to put veggies on we would often blow they hay off therefore they think veggies are coming everytime they hear it!
 
I love when guineas popcorn :D Its so cute :) Like everyone else said you have very happy piggies indeed :D! My guineas popcorn lots when I feed them haha x
