I have two males who live side by side in separate cages as they don’t get on. They’re both quite cheeky. One bites the bars and they sometimes stretch up to look at each other. Today whilst cleaning one out, the other one jumped out of his cage! I’ve had a previous pig do this but only when he was getting fed. I wasn’t even watching this pig! Now he keeps stretching up looking at the edges especially where he jumped out! Is there anyway I can stop him doing it again save buying a lid?!

Yes, increasing the height seems like the only alternative to putting a lid on it. Naughty pig!

When our boys were separated, we had a roof just over the area where the divider was, so they couldn't get into each other's half of the cage and murder each other. But it sounds like your boy didn't jump into the other one's cage, but completely out of the cage, is that right?
