I’ve posted about my lone pig sour cream before on this forum, I got her from an abusive situation and there’s no knowing what she went through before I had her. She has been terrified of being handled or even pet, I couldn’t even put my hand in the cage. Today she let me pet her and push her long hair out of her face I am so so happy with this breakthrough and I really hope to have more updates on our bonding soon! Here’s a photo of her new cage set up I did today!

There is nothing like the moment when you realise that you have won the trust of a being that has been rescued from an abuse/severe neglect situation and who has only experienced fear and distress in their life so far.

One of these special milestones and life experiences that you cannot buy, only earn with lots of patience and persistance. It is a very heady moment and well deserved.

PS: Be patient and persist if next time she runs away again.
