well after around 6 months of applying for jobs and getting no where i finally have an interview for a care assistant post the job is perfect easy to get to and quite a bit of money involved but i'm terrified i won't get or that i'll muck it up somehow. the interview is tommorrow at 1 so hopefully i'll be lucky
sorry to bother you all with this i just needed to tell someone

Just wanted to say GOOD LUCK at your job interview tomorrow and it hope it goes well for you O0

I know it's easier said than done but try not to worry about messing up (although I'm a hypercrite as I ALWAYS worry about it) and you'd be fine O0

I really hope you get the job as you deserve it especially after waiting 6 months for it O0

I get exactly the same before an interview i was told by my mam to take deep slow breathes before to calm m down but i got so terrified i'd breath in and forget to breath back out :o ;D

GOODLUCK on your interview, hope you get the job :) O0

Good luck, write down a list of questions, I always go blank at these things so writing it down helps me - let us know how you get on O0

When I used to interview people when I worked for Tesco I always employed people who could look me in the eye,if you feel nervous and think it's showing tell the interviewer, they will think more of you by explaining how nervous you are, good luck hunni :)

good luck try some Bachs rescue remedy spray for nerves and as already said take deep breaths and explain you are nervous as curly suggested

GOOD LUCK I am sure you will be fine try and be yourself O0 O0

thank you all so much for you're support have written a list of questions and hopefully i'll remember to ask them. i always feel that i don't put my self across well and when i come out of an interview i always think i should have asked something. my interview technique is a little rusty but hopefully it'll work out and i'll soon have a new job :)

Good luck - how did it go? Remember they will expect you to be a bit nervous and to forget some things - also an interview is an opportunity for you to find out if you want to work for them - it goes both ways!
I got through to the 2nd interview stage for an internal job the other week - it was really tough and it cam edown to between me and en external candidate - they chose him in the end but I was told it was veyr clsoe. Am going to keep trying anyway! Interviews are all good experience so even if you don't get this one keep trying and be confident!

hey there everyone
just to let you know how it went after a shaky start this morning where everything went wrong. we're talking shower broke, forgot to change my shoes and lost the button from my trousers  :tickedoff: everything at the interview went well and providing they like my references then i'll be offered the job it's for a day shift carer it's 5 days a week 7.30-2.30 or 2.30-9.30 and i'll get every 3rd weekend off so not bad at all. i liked what i saw to be honest now it's all a case of wait and see have another few applications pending so might stll get one of them
