This lovely boar was rescued by a kind family and brought to us at the weekend. The owner allegedly was going to let him loose. He is a gorgeous piggy and only a few months old. We named him Jeremy after the labour party leader who may also be thrown out soon. Someone said he looked a bit like Mr Corbyn, slightly scruffy but with a kind (sad) face.

Awww poor little lad :(

How can anyone want to do that to an animal. Glad he is safe with your now, what a beautiful boy

People like that really sicken me. Guinea pigs aren't natural animals in the wild (domestic ones) Why would it even cross their ideas thats a good idea?!

He is so beautiful and I agree with his sad expression. Poor little mite. He's gorgeous! I hope he finds a home soon.

Thank goodness someone rescued Jeremy ! I honesty can not understand people sometimes. When I think of the way most people care and worry over their animals it seems unbelievable that others don't and see them as Something to dispose of when they have had enough of them. Makes my blood boil!

So glad that he was brought to you B and didn't become a stray and then fox food - makes you shiver. Barney B was a stray and I am so glad he was rescued and has had happy years with us. Here is hoping Jeremy finds his family - I love his slightly sad face:love:. Are you planing to neuter him (as he is young) and find a wifepig / pigs or is that to be decided? Thank goodness for rescuers!

I am still assessing his personality, he seems a gentle boy so boar dating is worth a try initially and we have the option of neutering if that doesn't work out. Hows BB doing. @lauraboara ?

Awwww he is beautiful! He looks really sad :( these kind of stories make me realise why I like animals so much and dislike humans so much! Present company excluded of course!

I hope it works out well @Tim I'm sure you can turn his frown around :D

A date has been arranged

Now then Mr Jeremy.... The handsome very hairy variety.

Be sociable &get on with your date... U may have just landed on your paws for a life of spoilt luxury at Tims piggy palace
Yeay Tim

Good luck with the date... I'm such a sucker for a happy ending anyway, but I really hope this. works :luv:

Xx

Unfortunately, this piggy date was unsuccessful so Jeremy is still available. Zebedee is a tricky one to pair up! Sorry @Tim xx

Oh no! Well I have a lonely Oakley :D what kind of personality is Jeremy? I would love too see if he would match my Oakley!xx
Jeremy is a shy quiet boy. There was no aggression with Zebedee but Jeremy was terrified by Z's confident manner and just hid in the corner. We don't know what sort of home J came from..poor lad. But he is getting braver! Please get in touch if you want to try a boar date

My Oakley is VERY quiet! I don't think he has ever seen another piggy in his life. I'm hoping that another piggy will brighten him up abit because at the moment he just loves too bury himself in a massive pile of hay in his hay tray and that's it for the day until veggies :D although I did see a half hearted popcorn this morning :D
